Bryson Taylor Publishing is an independent publishing company and a subsidiary of Bryson Taylor Inc., established in 1999. The publishing company originated as a venue to publish an anti-bullying children's book for the state of Maine, after the publishers crusade to successfully lobby for legislation to aid and protect school age children from bullying and harassment. Since then her book, Sticks Stones and Stumped, loosely based on her son's bullying experience in middle school, became an award winning, bestselling children's book.
