Writers Workshop and Personally Designed Programs

Suitable for Pre-Kindergarten programs to grade 12 and adult programs:

With Sticks, Stones and Stumped and Ty you can personal design a class visit or a writers workshop. Our book clearly tells a story of acceptance and bully behavior/prevention. It also addresses the habitats of several animals. Using the animals, helps the students relate to human differences. The program can also include information on the Maine State Law #564, effective September 2006 and how to lobby. With older students the book is available as a tool, we do not read to the class. We can also focus on teamwork, making a difference, social awareness issues and dealing with peer pressure. You tell us what you want your program to look like. Ty is great for school and community awareness programs, we also work closely with Project Aware and provide a comprehesive interactive awareness skits on current issues effecting young people today.                                               
Writers workshop entails taking your ideas and developing a story to publication. Class can range from 40 minutes to 2 hours.
